Elite Cabinetmakers ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle your information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you contact us (through a form on this site, by phone, SMS or email) we collect your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about your job. We also keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.
How we handle missed calls
If you call Elite Cabinetmakers and we can't get to the phone, an automated system sends you a text message so we can still help you. To do that, we collect your phone number and keep a record of the call and the text messages we exchange. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to provide our services. We don't sell it and we don't use it for anything else. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or reply STOP to any text to stop hearing from us.
Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to measure how many people visit this site and which buttons they use. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not collect any personal or identifying information. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, quote and carry out the work, keep proper records, and improve our service.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. Trusted providers handle it on our behalf only to run our website, forms, messaging and invoicing, and we disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it's stored
Some of our providers store data outside Australia (for example, in the United States). We take reasonable steps to keep it protected wherever it is held.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Seeing or fixing your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
